Two thumbs up to Netflix. One of my biggest grievances was to start a film or series only to find that it was in a language other than English. I am now able to enjoy well acted and produced " foreign " films and not get lost in subtitles after finding that I can choose English in the audio selection of many titles. Thanks. Full Review

Personally I like the previous version more because I was able to fast forward or rewind, even though it was only by 10 seconds. I liked having that kind of control. I also don't like that when I rotate my phone the screen doesn't rotate anymore on the main screen for selecting movies/shows. If you could change those two features back that would be great. Also there seems to be a lot of shows and movies in lots of other languages but for some reason English isn't one of them. I enjoy watching foreign shows/movies and though I don't mind reading subtitles I still prefer to watch in English. If something could be done about that it would be greatly appreciated. Full Review

The new update of this app is really sucks. Would you please do something about it. The forward and rewind buttons not there anymore and also next and previous buttons. The porn hub website has even better UI/UX than netflix. Really disappointed on the new update. It's quite easy to fix since you guys have the best engineering team. Full Review

Latest UI update is even worse than before. Had anyone even checked with an S8 in full screen? Buttons don't belong at the bottom of the screen. All these UI changes are been made with no benefit. The overall experience of application is getting much worse than what it used to be a couple weeks ago. Can't understand why bother updating to later versions if UI keeps changing like this. At least give the option to change UI back to "legacy" versions. Full Review

Why the heck has the pause button moved from the centre of the screen back to the bottom left (it's so fiddly!) And also the 'skip intro' has gone along with the 10 second rewind and foeward..whats going on Netflix? Fix it back to how it was please. Or explain! This is a step back and really annoying. First I thought Netflix has not enough series and movies but this changed later I often find new good thing one it! I like STRANGER THINGS or DAREDEVIL there are really cool! It seems the app has received a redesign, but I for some reason haven't been able to rate anything for months. Is there any other users who are experiencing this problem? I use Netflix primarily on my mobile device, and not being able to rate anything renders recommendations useless. Full Review

latest (at least 5) version failed with chromecast, with audio selections.. and same goes to android tv version's.. 5 months gone and still no fix.. also netflix video play has started to lag, in latest version.. it seems that developers are unhappy with netflix as a company. nothing else could not be the reason for bug fixing what is greating new bug after another (without fixing the old ones).. i just hope that develompment partment will rollback to 2017 june version. maybe do some changes on the development team (members), etc. Full Review

It's buggy. Hangs after 40 minutes or so, just shows the buffering spinning circle. This spoils every show I watch as I have to reboot my nexus tablet to finish watching a show. Nothing else hangs, my Internet connection isn't the problem. Its been a problem since I loaded the app in January and the latest version is installed. Please fix this, urgently. Full Review

Video keeps freezing as of 2/12/18. The audio continues but the video just stops. I'd like to get through an episode of "REIGN" without the buffering in the middle of watching on my phone ( over WIFI ), and not have to restart the app completely or switch over to my laptop to resume viewing. I love Netflix at home and on my laptop. But unfortunately I travel a significant amount of time for work so I love being able to pull up the Netflix app and get lost in a show. After the last 2 updates the playback feature on a Google pixel 2 is horrible, constantly restarting or even at the end of a movie with 15-20 mins left again it will restart making it frustrating and damn near impossible to finish it Still constantly restarting videos please fix the playback issues on a Google pixel 2 xl!!!!! Love this app. Just wish the newest update didn't change it back to the way it used to be. I liked the 10 seconds rewind more than the 30 seconds, and it had 10 second fast forward, and everything was in the middle of the screen. Not stable. Often crashes with a "device failure" error message. If the app plays more than one video in a row, you got lucky. Actually, if the app plays any video at all without having to be closed and reopened 6 times first, you got lucky. Full Review

Since the latest update, every time I open the app it asks if I want Netflix notifications which I do NOT want. The check box for push notifications on settings remains unchecked. I cannot find any way to prevent this message pop up Full Review

The app is great overall and works like it should. The only downside is that it pops up a dialog asking me to turn on push notifications every time I open it up. It gets old when you open it up frequently. At this point I've turned them on and blocked them at the OS level just to get the app to stop asking. Full Review

The play button being removed from the middle of the screen and the rewind 30sec instead of 10sec or not even giving you the option is ridiculous. Also the app dosnt save my progress when watching a show so i have to start from the beginning each time. 19 Feb update is still not working. App is unable to launch when there's no internet or when netflix is inaccessible in certain countries, thus offline watching doesn't work either. I haven't been able to watch since these 3 updates. Bad value for my money. Bring back offline access Full Review

I absolutely loved the pause button in the center of the screen and the fast forward/rewind buttons next to it. It's too difficult for me to have to navigate through the episode by the time bar as my internet is pretty slow so I can't see where I'm supposed to be. Please change back!! Full Review

I hate to do this because I really do like Netflix but lately none of the shows (like Black Lightning) are showing the new episodes unless I uninstall and reinstall. The notifications come up just fine but when I press on said notification, the latest episode does not appear. Please fix soon. I dont want to go down another star. Full Review

Shows are now not updating, new episodes released are not reflecting through the mobile app. Next and previous episode UI removed which is a god awful move. It now feels like an Alpha version of the APP so fix it for gods sake. Full Review

Attention NetFlix! I hope you'll be able to read my very humble comment regarding to your recent updates. First of all, removing the feature where we can fast-forward or vice-versa while watching certain clips is absolutely a "BIG NO-NO!" for many of us. Also, I thought at first it's just me who've experienced frame freeze while the audio is still going on. I honestly thought it's my internet speed then I figured out it's because of the new updates you made. I've read some comments and we both have the same dilemma. If I were you, I'll listen to your subscribers especially when they're giving honest and constructive criticism like me. Lastly, the features are getting complicated to maneuver. I mean, it looks simple but it's no longer friendly-user since we can't control the app the way we want it to command. That's all. More Power! Full Review

I love Netflix! There is always something to watch. And I just love the Netflix originals. I don't like the newest update though. You teased us with the 10 second jump back or forward. Thanks for removing the double tap to skip ahead/backwards feature. It was not useful at all. I much prefer using the imprecise scroll bar to try to skip intro and then miss 10 seconds of my show. 30s rewind is the only option I need. Netflix knows best. You can add a skip intro button on PC, and on my TV, but somehow that marvel of engineer cannot be repeated on Android. As a billion dollar company, you'd think they could fix these basic features in the mobile app Full Review
