Celebrate 2018 Lunar New Year with Google Play

Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 750 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced a dynamic weather system that recognizes real-world weather, impacting the gameplay experience in a variety of ways, from changing the Pokémon encountered to increasing their effectiveness in combat.

Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered!
Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away!

Search far and wide for Pokémon and items
Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items.

Catching, hatching, evolving, and more
As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger.

Compete in epic Gym battles
You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers.

Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses
A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own!

It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await!

It is ok however to delete the account you have to submit a form to the company, which is fine however the reason all reflect negatively on the customer making the company look flawless. Game play is ok but progression is slow. I suggest you make the "reasons" section free text so that you can get an accurate assessment for process improvement instead of a BS pre stagged answer. The game has been majorly revamped and has benefited from it. It's so much better to see that content and events are happening more often. Hopefully we'll see the first wave of gen 4 by April or May and a nice egg event will happen to get a higher chance of a baby Pokemon from gen 4. Keep up the great work only downside is legendaries. I can't get them as not enough people in my area play Pokemon go and I'm not travelling for a Pokemon. Can we have a legendary event for one week you can get 3* legendary raids? That would make it easier. Full Review

I'm an android user and also on a budget so I can't get the latest and greatest ever really. And every phone I've ever had cannot run this stupid game. The developers really need to work with the lower quality phones to get it to be able to detect the GPS in them because it will load the character model, and the UI. Nothing else though. As soon as it starts loading it just says GPS signal not found and it can't ever find it total garbage Full Review

Updated content since the app was launched. Still recommended. Suggestion: After the daylight savings time change, raiding ends too early in the evenings. Setting raids to continue spawning eggs until after 8pm EST at the earliest would be great. Thanks and keep up the hard work. Full Review

I really like the game. I stopped playing for quite a while because of the connection problems. I made the mistake of choosing a Pokemon trainer club account instead of a google account, so it does have some problems staying logged in or even if you switch between accounts you have to close the app so it allows you to log back into the trainer account. I just wish they would have it so you could connect a trainer account with a google mail, so this would not be an issue. It's a little overdue since a lot of people do want to switch Full Review

I love pokemon go and always get pulled back into playing it. I'm still getting use to the updates after not playing for a while and am disapointed in the gyms. While I love being able to use them like pokestops, I wish to recall my pokeon from the gym. I love I a rural area and my poor Vaporeon has been at a gym for 13 days. THIRTEEN. I used to love this game. I hate the way you can only raid a gym in a group to win the best Pokemon. I do a job where my hrs are different from other ppls. So I am not available to do raids with others. Also I think it would be brilliant if you had a swapping system with other players so it could at least open up the opportunity to gain some of the rarer Pokemon, if you aren't able to get to raids or travel. I live in a rural area and don't drive so it is difficult to get to other areas..... Full Review

Its getting better. Haven't done raids yet, but hopefully the EX Pass business is fixed soon. Would like to see more Pokestops in rural areas. Arlington has plenty scattered around but anywhere outside in a suburb is a ghost town. Also with more legendary Pokémon, maybe add some extra teams or the ability to switch. I would give 5 stars but my account got lost and I can't figure out how to get it back. Also, when trying to contact Niantic you aren't able to leave an email. Their troubleshooting doesn't work. This game needs a Sign on screen that actually works so you can pull your account up instead of it starting you all over. I spent a lot of money on my previous account because I like the game. I will not spend a dime on this account to have it lost again Full Review

Not accessible to all players, especially outside of cities. Inconvenient gameplay because of raids and raid times. Unbalanced Pokemon and no IV modifiers. No trading and no PvP. Itd be better if the game didn't dictate where I needed to go to play it. I just want to go for a walk, find Pokemon and items both at random chance then return home with my haul. Full Review

The game is good for the most part and there's lots of fun easter eggs but with gps spoofers and the fact that you're forced to join in with people to battle high level raids really fails the game play. All I want is a sliding scale of difficulty with raids so that players who want to get a legendary battle going without having to be forced to deal with people can still contend to catch a legendary. I've all but given up raids all together because of this issue. I want to play MY game not play with everyone else, is that so much to ask? Full Review

I just spent the last hour typing out a review that the system seems to have deleted, so I'll just shorten it to the facts that: There is senseless region locking of good pokemon. You can't leave team members notes in gyms, so it's difficult to figure out who guards the same locations with you. The game will CONSTANTLY buffer when you throw pokeballs and waste your items. The game will not recognize where you are sometimes, preventing you from hitting pokestops or raiding. It will think you're spoofing when driving from work to home on a regular basis. You will drop out of raids and not be able to collect rewards. The group aspect and pokemon are fun though. Full Review

Update: I just realized there is a small error in the pokedex entry. Volbeat has a 100% male ratio. So it shouldn't really have a female option. That is for Illumise. (I mean, take a look and the nidoqueen and nidoking line. Those two only have one gender option.) It is a fine game to play, if you want to waste time. Obviously, it is different from main pokemon game series. However, if you can't get the main series game(even through emulator), this is a alright game in my opinion to replace it. The raid boss is a pretty interesting concept and with the new wave of pokemons coming in, I would say the game has made progress for the better over the months. With raids, new generation of pokemons introduces and events. However, there are some bugs in the newest update(with some from the lld update getting fixed). For instances, I did not receive any pokecoins from the gym despite my pokemon being there for more than 8 hours. And even when it said my pokemon have return with pokecoins, the pokecoins were not added to my balance of pokecois. So there is that. Overall, the game is decent. Definitely better than it was before. However, there are many things it could improve on. So I am hoping for such improvements in the future. Full Review

As a game in general, it's extremely fun and gets me out every weekend with friends. The game itself is riddled with little bugs and issues that still shouldn't be here despite the time and revenue from the game. Niantic needs to be more competent and sort out the small but vast issues. If you're looking for an excuse to go outdoors and explore a little, this is perfect, as long as you can handle a few gameplay quirks. Full Review
